Dr. Laura Rosenberg, OD is a highly skilled optometrist, specializing in comprehensive eye care, ocular disease, and surgical co-management. Originally from South Africa, Dr. Rosenberg moved to Georgia during high school and later earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in biology and psychology from The University of Georgia. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from the UAB School of Optometry, graduating summa cum laude and receiving the prestigious Dean’s Award.
Dr. Rosenberg completed an advanced ocular disease and surgical co-management residency in Louisville, KY, before returning to Atlanta to serve the community with expert eye care. She is passionate about providing thorough comprehensive eye exams using the latest technology to optimize vision for her patients. Dr. Rosenberg is also experienced in managing eye infections and chronic eye diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease.
As a specialist in dry eye treatment, Dr. Rosenberg participated in research on new dry eye medications during her residency. She also has extensive experience with custom contact lens fitting, particularly for patients with dry eyes, post-surgical needs, or irregular corneas.
Dr. Rosenberg is a dedicated member of the American Optometric Association, Georgia Optometric Association, and the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association. Outside of her practice, she enjoys cheering on the UGA Bulldogs, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband and two children.
